Samsung China has recently introduced a flagship flip smartphone with Snapdragon 808 chip and running latest Android 5.1.1 Lollipop. This might be a quick reply to just LG’s just launched flip phone.

The flip phone dubbed Samsung G9198 made a silent entry. The dual-screen flip phone comes with two 3.9″ 768p Super AMOLED touch displays. It runs on a Snapdragon 808 chip with a hexa-core processor. Further, it packs 2GB RAM and 16GB of expandable storage. Probably, there is no microSD.

In camera department, Samsung G9198 features a 16MP rear camera with a LED flash and a 5MP front facer. Also, it comes with LTE connectivity, a heart-rate sensor, dual-SIM capability, and an overwhelming 2,020mAh battery. Previously, the Samsung G9198 was rumored as S6 mini. Now it came out to be a flip phone. However, we’ll have to wait for the official announcement or the first appearance at IFA Berlin next month
