Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Is Getting Netflix HDR Streaming

  MPC Team

Netflix has added HDR streaming support to not only Samsung Galaxy Note 8 but also to LG V30 and Sony Xperia XZ1. Because of the impressive HDR display, Netflix support for HDR streaming would be an added plus.

Users would be able to stream high contrast videos with rich colors content. Also, it is being reported that LG G6 would acquire the Netflix feature too. But LG G6 is the only device getting the support with Dolby Vision which is a different dynamic format range for video streaming.

However, Samsung Galaxy S8, S8 Plus and Tab S3 all have HDR displays but at the launch of these devices Netflix didn’t had any such support to offer.

Netflix update would be applicable to all devices selling in UK, US and Australia. Moreover, Netflix is intended to widen the support scope by offering the high quality video streaming to other Samsung devices too but we haven’t learnt anything related anymore.
