In previous days a couple of screen shots of SM-N900 U unit appeared to be leaked which have stirred new qualms in the Samsung market. This showed Exynos Galaxy Note 3 running Android 5.0 Lollipop. The alleged person behind the story is samsungviet.vn forum member, who apparently got hold of the ROM thanks to an error on the website samsung-updates.com.

Though update seems to be as real as it gets, but predictably it is an early beta, that has just slipped through curtain like light. This whole story now seems loosely intertwined as the further thread is trying to cover the incident by providing a download link along with a full set of instructions for a manual flash.

The leaked version of Android Lollipop seems to be functioning but the XDA forum exposes that it is perforated with bugs. This is what is expected from beta not intended in any way for public use.

This has still not discouraged XDA users who have not only flashed the new ROM, but have also managed to apply a few quick “homebrew” solutions to remedy certain crash issues. This has also fixed a major problem with Bluetooth connectivity.

We will soon be seeing the new variant of the Samsung Galaxy Note 3- the Snapdragon 800 SM-N9005.
