The Samsung Galaxy A8 with 5.9mm thickness is the slimmest of the handsets offerings by Sammy So far. Samsung is working on its successor Galaxy A8 (2016) and is currently benchmarked by GFXBench. The device has 5.1-inch display with pixel resolution 1080 x 1920 resolution. The Samsung Galaxy A8 runs on an Exynos 7420 chipset, which is the latest and fastest in chipset market.

The Exynos 7420 will come paired with octa-core 2.1GHz CPU. The graphics department will be handled with Mali-T760 MP8 GPU. It has a 3GB of RAM with 32GB of native storage. Camera-wise, it has 16MP sensor on the back, and a 5MP to capture selfies and handle video chats. There is no word on the thickness but we expect it to be same or slimmer.

The Galaxy A8 (2016) is also recently spotted at India’s import and export tracking website Zauba. It revealed 5.7-inch screen size which could be wrong as the same source has given 6-inch display size for Samsung Galaxy Note 7 (confirmed wrong lately).
