Coolpad has just launched an event on Facebook according to which the new Play 6 will be released in India. The event basically gave complete information about the Coolpad Play 6 release date. Upon the last date of the event, which is 20 August, the company will start selling Play 6 smartphone in India.

Among the main Coolpad Play 6 specifications include Snapdragon 653 chipset, 6GB RAM, 64GB storage, microSD slot, dual camera, Android 7.0 Nougat OS and 4060mAh battery.

Such rich specs included in Play 6 smartphone make it a strong competitor of Oppo F3 Plus as well as ZTE nubia Z17 mini. Since the Indian market is already quite responsive to mid-range smartphones, so we now await for how the new Coolpad Play 6 will penetrate into the Indian smartphone market.

The Coolpad Play 6 price upon launch in India will be INR15,000, which is around $235.
