If people thought that the Programming language COBOL invented in 1959 was ended than they must be wrong. Nowadays, programmers may know Java and C Plus but they don’t know about COBOL.  COBOL is still working and its experts are earning handsome amount. In American banks 80 percent personality transactions and 95% ATM swipe are dependent on COBOL. Lack of COBOL experts is the main problem of banks.

Many banks and federal government’s infrastructure are depend on COOBOL. So, any problem in COBOL must be dangerous for the system. Only few institutions are teaching COBOL. Old programmers could only solve these issues.

Some experts believe that COBOL will still work for next 20 years and If this is the fact than scope of its experts will be good in future.
