We have noticed since last 45 days Oppo is continuously battling with market leaders Samsung & QMobile.  Oppo is relying on TV media and outdoor media to promote their brand. They are mainly targeting Samsung  and QMobile and trying to capture outdoor branding spaces at higher rate at Hall Road and Hafeez Centre , which is main hub of Mobile Phone Sales. More than 70% sales are generated from these two points in Lahore market. We have learned Oppo has offered bid of Rs 3.3 million for  branding space of front side of the Hafeez center building to win the bid, where as Samsung has offered  Rs. 2.7 million. So far fight is going on among three players. The major advertising space is Pole advertising which is current;y being advertised by Samsung in 10 million outside the Hafeez Center. Its contract will be expired in March 2015. Then there is strong possibility Oppo may take these pole advertising space as well by giving higher bid.

Oppo is also offering higher incentive to retailers on sales as compare to QMobile and Samsung.  We have observed Samsung is doing its advertising very intelligently because its brand equity is quite strong as compare to QMobile and Oppo. Even QMobile is the major ad spender on TV media. On every TV channel one can see  more than 10 spots of QMobile  in one hour. Samsung is international brand and has strong brand recall.  Samsung fans always wait for the next model like now fans are waiting for Galaxy Note 4 But nobody is waiting for QMobile Z7.
