Oppo, in its recent teaser, has confirmed the anticipated presence of R9 smartphone. It appear that this time the phone would be more camera centric as Chinese text in the teaser can be translated as “This time, it is worth and other ‘9’ point. #OPPO New camera phone R9 #.”Surprisingly, nothing else has been confirmed regarding the smartphone except it camera. As no specs have been leaked we can assume that few more teasers will do this job before launch. However, a leak purports that device has a high resemblance to iPhone 6s Plus.

Oppo R9 will be Camera Centric smartphone

As far as the rumored specs are concerned, the Oppo R9 will run on a Snapdragon 820 SoC and packs a 6-inch (1440 x 2560 pixel resolution) display. It is likely to unveil with 3GB or 4GB RAM with 64GB memory configuration (expandable via microSD). Camera-wise, it features 21MP rear camera and a 13MP front facer. It is powered by 3,700mAh battery plus the R9 will boot Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box.
