Last month, there were rumors of two Nokia branded smartphone with flagship specs of IP68 Certification and 2K screens. The handsets are likely to come with Snapdragon 820 chipsets. However, the company is also focusing on low cost feature phones. Currently a handset with model number RM-1187 is certified at TENNA.

The Nokia RM-1187 should feature 2.4-inch screen with a pixel resolution of 240 x 320 screen. It will have 16 MB of RAM, and 16 MB of internal storage, which can be extended up to 64 GB via microrSD. The device will bring 1025mAh battery.  The TENAA specs sheet reveals the device has two cameras with unknown sensor size, an LED flash on the back, as well as dual SIM support. The RM-1187 will come in three colors – black, white and blue.

The first Nokia branded phone will come with Microsoft-HDM-Foxconn collaboration. However, it will be geared towards developing markets and we are not sure whether it will hit the global launch.
