Nokia 3310, the revamped nostalgic phone, may give a tough time to all the other Nokia-branded smartphones when it comes to the number of units sold. Introduced as a 2G feature phone that just supports GSM networks, the device will be launched in the US by the end of June.
According to HMD, it will work with carriers in the US to find a solution to these problems. But for Nokia buffs, EDGE coverage on GSM networks is a little issue in the region.
It is likely that the Nokia 3310 might just work on T-Mobile. The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has sanctioned a Nokia-branded mobile device that goes by the model number TA-1037, which is surely the U.S. version of the Nokia 3310. As per the FCC, it will support GSM bands 850MHz in addition to 1900MHz only. The second is used by T-Mobile that means the Nokia 3310 might be available through the Uncarrier.
