Recently, a few pages have been spotted spreading false messages about Islam and recent military activities in Pakistan. For this reason, the Government is ready to take extreme steps to avoid Blasphemous content on Social Media. In outright statement, Nisar said, that we ought to shun these elements to dilute our ideas for Religion and military interventions for peace purposes.

The secular activist named Salman Haider, Ahmed Waqas Goraya, Asim Saeed, Ahmed Raza Naseer and Samar Abbas, created pages like Bhainsa, Mochi, and Roshni for committing Blasphemy via Social Media.

In order to stop this, a petitioner Salman Shahid, with the help of Counsel Tariq Asad has filed a complaint at IHC. Further he said that they should block such content event it means blocking entire Social Media.

The Islamabad High court has immediately issued orders to interior ministry for blocking Blasphemy Content. Chaudhry Nisar and other official immediately responded to the order of court and also appeared before the judges to finally show that they have acted upon the jurisdictions of court and will soon block all the Blasphemy content, even if it involves blocking the entire social media.

“We will go to any extent, even if we have to go to the extent of permanently blocking all such social media websites if they refuse to cooperate.”
