The much rumored Microsoft Lumia flagships will soon release but they won’t be named Lumia 950 and 950XL, as Nokia Power User authentic source reports. The two high-end models will be dubbed Lumia 940 and 940XL instead, just in line with the sequence Lumia 930.

Also a Lumia 840 is rumored to be in works as previously reported and it will be launched before the end of the year probably after the release of the high-end duo. While the duo is likely to debut in November, the next rumored device is said to be dubbed Lumia 840 and not 850 like another source claimed.

The most important thing unearthed today is Microsoft moving towards on-screen buttons. Before that Lumias have definitely relied on capacitive buttons in the bottom bezel, while NPU poll showed that 44% of users are againstthe concept of on-screen buttons on a flagship Windows Phone device. Irrespective of the fact Microsoft is going for these buttons.

So there is plenty to be come forward if these rumors are right. But for now we will take it with the pinch of salt.
