The next big and much awaited announcement of this year is LG G4 which is expected to get unveiled in the first half of year. Another device that is expected to reveal by its side in the second half of year is something even bigger than this. A LG executive also mentioned this possibility earlier. Now it turns out the device is called G4 Note. Yes it is a phablet and a high-end one which is bound to compete with Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and the successor of  iPhone 6 Plus. This is considered the return of LG to the phablet market. The company released Optimus G Pro in 2013 and also the G Pro 2 last year, but then stopped selling these devices because sales of both had cannibalized its other flagships. Probably they have done it again because this time they might manage so that the sales end up in favor of G4 as well as G4 Note. Probably this is because both are releasing at different times of year. LG is also aspiring to reach number 3 in world smartphone market after the launch of these phones. LG will apparently expect to sell 10 million G4 units this year, compared to just 7 million G3 devices it shipped in 2014.
