The Chinese OEM Lenovo has made a very strong statement for Motorola presence and we should now expect more smartphones of Motorola under Lenovo’s acquirement. Very recently Lenovo reasoned that Motorola has a better existence in markets than Lenovo, we may not need to work hard to earn it more recognition than the owner company.

Motorola will undergo merger with Lenovo

Lately, they would integrate both companies into a bigger one.This will not be relabeling, according to Lenovo’s CEO.Therestructuring will give more leadership to Motorola to govern its parent brand Lenovo. Lenovo will cut down its old models eventually, and all new models will launch under Motorola brand. The combined company heavily relies on Motorola long standing research and development unit.

Despite this, Lenovo will not all Motorola. Few of its handsets like ZUK will still operate under parent brand as they have shown immense tendency to work in international markets and build a repute for amazing high-end phones.

Lenovo has recently suffered losses for Q1 and this might have inclines to go for more recognizable brand image.
