Taiwan’s htc has planned to launch more entry level smartphones next year. The smartphones are expected to launch in Q1. The company also aims at promoting the handsets as well as special designed models.Jack Jong, The president of htc North Asia, has reported that the shipment of smartphones is expected to double next year.

“HTC began to market its mid-range HTC Desire 820 dual-SIM in cooperation with Chunghaw Telecom (CHT) in November and will release HTC Desire 820 single-SIM in January 2015”, Tong said. The currently adopted marketing and placement strategy of HTC is similar to that of China’s Xiaomi, World’s third largest smartphone supplier.
