Microsoft Lumia was officially unveiled in October and was made up for pre-order on November 14. It was promised that it will be in retail stores till December 08, 2015. The Good news is that the device is now selling in the most part of Europe equivalent to $ 139.

Microsoft Lumia 550 now hits retail in select regions

The Lumia 550 though do not offer a promising spec sheet but it do have some high points including 4G LTE and 4.7-inch HD display. The Snapdragon 210 SoC which quite meek as compared to many in competition but it caters to everyday task without much resistance. If you are looking for some more latest stuff then you should probably go for Lumia 950 and 950XL.

Though it is only available in most of Europe the device will soon hit other regions worldwide in couple of weeks. The Lumia 550 further offers 1GB of RAM and an 8GB on board storage with expandable 200 micro SD. Further it has a 5MP front snapper.

It is specifically for those who are not the high-end type and want an entry level without a beefy price tag.  Satya Nadella’s company is firmly offering affordable, lower-end smartphones, with the Lumia 550 following the likes of the Lumia 435 and Lumia 532 in budget smartphones’ release by the company this year.
