Meizu’s flagship handset, which belongs to MX series, was initially to launch under the brand name Pro later this year. But for now it seems Meizu has change of heart- it has recently launched the Pro 6 early this year with a smaller, 5.2-inch screen. While at the same time we are hearing the rumors that the unannounced MX6 which will pack a 5.5-inch display will release sometime around. However, despite of small screen the rest of the hardware of Pro 6 will be more powerful.

As per reports the Meizu MX6 is likely to launch on the 19th of July. A photo allegedly unveiling the back panel is making rounds online, which shows the similarity between the two handsets is quite strong–starting with more bulging camera module, to the positioning of LED flash, and the more curved and exceptionally designed antenna sticks. You might think it as skepticism as such type of leak might belong to the previously launched Meizu Pro 6.

However, as there is no confirmation upon any spec or design language, take our speculation as a pinch of salt.
