LG is prepping to produce flexible OLEDs for Huawei and Xiaomi in future.

The World’s largest OLED’s producer, Samsung and LG, are looking for new ventures to sell its latest technology. Samsung is allegedly prepping to test the luck of its AMOLED screens in Laptop panels while LG is looking for making smaller OLEDs for handsets.

HP recently outed a laptop with AMOLED display based on Samsung technology and LG also did come up with a bendable display phone LG G Flex but now it is expanding by involving more players. It is not only that LG is working on more foldable OLEDs for its future smartphones, it is also that LG will be supplying these bendable screens to Huawei and Xiaomi for their future handsets. Currently, the Google Nexus 6P packs Quad HD AMOLED panel, but it remains to be seen which next Huawei handset will sport the LG panels.

As these are the largest selling brands in China, we assume LG will have a large customer base for its bendable OLEDs. It would be interesting to know which of the handsets from the Huawei and Xiaomi will pack these panel.

Apple is also rumored to feature OLED in iPhone 8. Let’s see how this bendable saga will end up with different brands coming in light to put OLED dream into a reality.
