LeTV is currently planning to launch a smartphone in India which is likely to happen in a couple of weeks. The Company has started sending out press invites for the event scheduled for January 5 in New Delhi.

The invite contains little information for example date of event, time, and venue with the report that the company is willing to launch smartphone in Indian market.

Generally, the speculation is that LeTV Le 1s will launch in event. The device has been already announced in China and selling well. The handset packs a 5.5″ 1080p IPS LCD displayand runs on MediaTek Helio X10 SoC. The Le 1s FEATURES mirror-surfaced fingerprint recognition, which the company claims offers 99% accuracy on first touch, and responds in just .09 seconds.
