Leaks so far have indicated that Apple has already tried hundreds of places to put the fingerprint reader on upcoming iPhone 8. Since there isn’t going to be any room on the front side of the phone, the new revelation is that this reader is going to be placed on a much more familiar location, i.e. on the back side just below the famously branded Apple logo.

The metal blanks in the figure below point towards a round hole just beneath the Apple logo. This clearly means that there will be a fingerprint reader.

These metal blanks are in much more clear form and shape as previous these details were quite vague.
