Recent Facebook video from Huawei shows how the company is planning to launch the real AI phone next month. They are trying to get the hardware responsible for carrying out AI tasks but the company has revealed that it would launch a real AI phone on 16^th October along with the launch of its latest mobile phone, Huawei Mate 10.

Not just the phrasing, Huawei is pretty much ahead in AI world of mobile. Also, Huawei is putting AI chips in their mobile phones which bring a lot of things to their advantage e.g. fast processing, enhanced battery life and better user security.

At IFA this year, Huawei introduced Neural Processing Unit (NPU), Kirin 970 system on chip. It has set of processing cores to run AI tasks. So, expect deeper AI integration like we had seen in Huawei Mate 9 as it utilized machine learning for mobile operating system.
