After successfully penetrating the US market with Honor 5X, its successor Honor 6X has hit the market again with 5.5-inch screen and dual camera lens. It also has 2-day battery and a hefty performance.

It is 5.5-incher with balanced build and metal body. It has 8.2mm thickness and 162grams weight with pretty wide bezels around the side. With the display comes resolution of 1080 x 1920-pixel (Full HD) panel, but this tells you little about the sharpness of the colors.

As far as the software are concerned, it will have 6.0 Marshmallow with company’s Emotion Users Interface. Honor might promise later on a better and sharper 7.0 Nougat update.

The dual lens camera helps you take a better focus for the picture you are capturing and it also works best with the fake bokeh effect: with this effect the users can focus on what to be captured and the rest blurred. However, it will not be as crispy as iPhone 7’s, as it does not have a cut-throat aperture. Video-wise, the phone can only record 1080p footage at 30fps, and there is no supports for 4K resolution.

Processor-wise, the Honor 6X has home brewed Kirin 655 chipset, with an octa-core CPU humming at 2.1Ghz and four battery savvy cores clocked at 1.7GHz. You can either have 3GB or 4GB of RAM with 32GB of internal storage expandable via microSD of 128GB.

Honor 6X has a whopping battery of 3340mAh with full 2-day consumption. The pre-orders will be kicking off from tomorrow and the device will release from 15^th of January.
