Huawei P10 which is the latest flagship was released in MWC 2017. Few Huawei P10 users have claimed that their phone is not offering storage speeds as fast as the other users P10.
Huawei has admitted that this issue exists. This issue was highlighted when different P10 phones are shipped out for the first time and when benchmarked gave the storage seed with lot of difference. Some users reported getting sequential storage seeds of over 700 mbps and some measured the speeds under 300 mbps. But some users got 500 mbps and some getting 400 mbps.
Huawei did not specify this earlier so the users thought that company is not honest with them. Huawei ‘s Business Group CEO Richard Yu reached the general public through Weibo which is the Chinese microblogging platform.
He mentioned that this issue arose when the company ran short of one particular RAM and Storage. Huawei P10 have both LPDDR3 or LPDDR4 RAM’s along with the eMMC 5.1, UFS 2.0 or UFS 2.1 for the storage. He said the company was not misleading the consumers. Mr Yu said ““We would never do such a despicable thing as cutting corners”
