The US technology’s great Apple has started its initial production of iPhone SE in Bengaluru, a city in India.This city resides in the Karnataka State of India where Government is a democratically elected body with the governor as the constitutional head. So, the Karnataka Government has assured Apple that it will support the manufacturing process.

State Industries Minister R V Deshpande said that “I am very excited that one of the most worthwhile technology companies in the world has started manufacturing process of its iPhone SE handsets in Bengaluru. I congratulate the Apple team for their resolution and making the project an actuality.” He further said in a statement that, the iPhone SE model is very famous and highly demanded handset worldwide. He feels very proud that the handset will be soon available globally with the seal of “Made in India”.

The Karnataka government had announced in February about the Apple’s manifesto to start off initial manufacturing operations in Bengaluru.The phones will be manufactured by Wistron. It is interesting to know thatwithin India, there was a very tough competition among states to get this project. The reality behind the selection of state is the Karnataka’s investment attractiveness and business friendly environment.
