The most renowned US based tech major Apple has started selling iPhone SE on trial basis in the country that was assembled in India. Made in India iPhone SE is available for sale at selected stores, on trial basis. Smartphones were assembled in India in limited quantities for trial basis, told by an industry source. A picture is shared by source shows that, ‘Designed by Apple in California, Assembled in India’ is printed on the box of made in India iPhone SE with 32 GB storage capacity. The picture showed the price of Rs 27,200 inclusive of all taxes on the box.

The source also told that ‘Apple’ Cupertino-based maker of iPhones and iPads had accomplished the manufacturing of iPhones SE’s in April at Begaluru. The units are assembled by Wistron Corporation the Taiwanese manufacturing partner of Apple. A couple of days before, Karnataka IT Minister had told that the production of iPhone SE in India would help Apple to lower its prices and also attain a strong grip in the Indian market.
