The recently appointed CEO of Google, Sundar Pichai, disclosed it in the yesterday’s Alphabet Earning Call meeting that by the end of 2017, Google will release 11 Android smartphones that will be supporting the daydream virtual reality (VR) platform.
Daydream basically transforms the compatible mobile phones into detached virtual reality systems. In this regard, all you need to do is to buy one of Google’s daydream view headsets for grabbing the device along with touch controller and you are on!
Currently, there are only four Daydream-compatible smartphones available in the market, i.e. Google Pixel, Huawei Mate 9 Pro, Motorola Moto Z, and Porsche Design Mate 9. So this recent news from Google is quite amazing for VR lovers, as they will have more options by the end of this year to choose VR supported phone from a plethora of devices.
