Google Pixel XL’s successor is canceled, now replaced with a bigger phone

According to a latest rumor, there will just be 2 Pixel phones making their way to the market this fall but you might be surprised to find out which device was canceled. The Pixel XL’s direct successor was canned, that is the Muskie, leaving the smaller Pixel’s descendant (Walleye) to come together with a bigger handset (Taimen).

That kind of tells why the Pixel XL 2 that we saw in a benchmark had a bigger screen compared to the original Pixel XL as it is that third model (Taimen) which is in development phase.
