The Samsung Galaxy J3 (2017) has been on and off in the rumors but now the official announcement seems imminent. Samsung has also recently outed the official renders which means the successor is not out of the question anytime soon. The recent leak suggest it could be December 1, 2016.

Galaxy J3 (2017) is likely to go official on December 1, 2016.

Based on various leaks of Galaxy J3 (2017) it has 5-inch display with either HD (720p) or FHD (1080p) resolution. This could also be two version as Evan Blass has reported press render where the “regular” model has model number SM-J327P and not SM-J3119, referring to J3 Pro.

The Galaxy J3 (2017) will feature a powerhouse of  1.4GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 CPU with modest 2 GB of RAM, which is very appropriate for entry-level handset. Samsung Galaxy J3 (2017) will come with 8MP rear camera unit and a hefty 2,600 mAh battery giving life to the handset. The handset will be skinned with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow, however, a Nougat update or Samsung UX could happen anytime.
