Samsung is visiting the rumor mill again with its new Samsung Galaxy A8. After the A3, A5 and A7; A8 will also come with all-metal body. Back in March Samsung registered the trademarks of Galaxy A6, A8 and A9 but this is the first time specifications have been unveiled.Galaxy A8 features 5.7-inch display with resolution of 1920 by 1080 pixels (Full HD). It runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 chipset with four ARM Cortex-A53 CPU cores clocked at 1.7GHz, four additional ARM Cortex-A53 cores humming at 1.0GHz, and an Adreno 405 GPU. It packs a 2GB of RAM, and 16GB of integrated storage.MicroSD slot might be missing. The dimensions of Galaxy A8 is rumored to measure 5.9mm in thickness. The Galaxy A8 will be the thinnest smartphone that Samsung ever made. The Galaxy A7 was 6.3mm.In the camera department, the device will feature 16MP rear camera and a 5MP front-facing shooter. It is to be powered by a 3050mAh battery. Insider sources claim that the Samsung Galaxy A8 runs Android 5.0.1 Lollipop. It might also have the improved TouchWiz on top. The device is expected to be China-only smartphone.
