Facebook Reveals How it will now limit the Third-Party Access from the User Data

Mark Zuckerberg, founder and CEO of Facebook, revealed a couple weeks ago that the platform of Facebook was being used to influence the 2016 US presidential elections results. Facebook has today offered even more particular information about how it is limiting the data of users from going into the wrong hands by admitting the fact that about 87 million users’ data was share inappropriately with the Cambridge Analytica, from which 70 million were the accounts made in USA.

Most of this user data was available via APIs that will let the third-party users to get information from the available modules of Facebook. Facebook will however restrict this information as well, and it will now be difficult for hacking the accounts that are weak. In this regard, Facebook login will also need the approval from users for opening different information sets shared by the users themselves on the platform.

Moreover, the developers from the next week will not be able to get any sort of information in case they have not opened their app for three months.
