ECP has recently issued a notice to ban the use of social media in Offices. The Election has clearly stated that there will be no use of Facebook, Twitter and other social media channel by the employees in offices. The security concerns has led to this development whereby huge confidential database is handled by these organization. It is important to secure it as social media channels do have strong privacy policies. YouTube is also banned due to similar concerns.

Especially it is important to stop the cyber-attack in any case of sensitive information. It is possible that this ban might be limited to sometime whereby an effective system is being developed by Government to secure sensitive information and national data in a different way.

We believe that soon it will be lifted and even the employees can have access to social platform as usual.
