The latest report from US based magazine namely Consumer Reports has declared the Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus has the best performing smartphones. In this regard, S8 was given top spot, whereas S8 Plus was given the second spot.

On the other hand, Apple iPhone 8 was given 4^th and iPhone 8 Plus was given 5^th spot. Interestingly, however, the third spot was retained by previous year’s Samsung Galaxy S7. This still does not mean that everything is going great for Samsung, as its newly released Galaxy Note 8 is still at number 6, which is alarming thing for the company.

The main reason for the Note 8 to come at number 6 is its sub-par durability as well as heavy weight. These issues along with many others make the new Samsung phone more vulnerable vis-à-vis ratings.
