The reliable sources broke news that Apple will soon unveil its ever largest slate having display size of 12.2 inches. It seems that Apple’s management has started focusing on large screens. The recent launch of iPhone 6 Plus prove it. Apple lovers’ will must anxiously wait for this new gadget to fulfill their long time quest of Apple larger screens. However, a question arises; Will Apple able to retain quality of bigger displays on same level for which Apple is renowned? Very soon we will get the answer.

Breaking News: Apple iPad Pro 12.2 Inch Slate is About To Launch

The understandable reasons behind this decision will probably be 1) the strong and increasing demand of larger screens by the buyers 2) the significant drop in sales of 7.9 inch iPad Mini Series in Q3 of 2014. Note that iPad Mini Series sale is dropped from 14.1 million units of previous year to 12.3 million units 3) to combat the recently launched 12 inch Microsoft Surface Pro 3 tablet.

The sources also revealed that the Apple is going to discontinue the iPad Mini Series. It might be due to the recent launch of 5.5 inch iPhone 6 Plus and forthcoming launch of 12.2 inch iPad Pro. The idea behind this decision is that the iPad Mini Series brand loyal customers will get shifted 5.5 inch iPhone 6 plus, 9.7 inch iPad Air & Air 2 and 12.2 inch iPad Pro.
