Though, many are looking forward to the much anticipated September launch of the new iPhone 8 but Apple has disclosed its third quarter sale of the last year which shows that iPad had made Apple to sale 11 million iPads in Q3.

Business of Apple was at stall in the second quarter of the last year but the third quarter report is welcoming. Revenue earned about 6 percent yearly and the profit margin is 12 percent up in the same time period of 2016. The third quarter stats are clearly showing iPad sale increase of 15 percent.

Biggest drivers for such a jump in sales are the cheap $329 iPads as compared to iPad Pro. Apart from these sales, iPad growth hasn’t shown any significant increase in sales number over the past few years.

China, the region which drives the Apple growth has shown negative results where the company saw drop in revenue from the past year because of the increase in competition from local mobile phone makers.
