Twitter claimed that its user earn more money hence expensive to be purchased by even the biggest companies, rather the affluent users of Twitter can’t be compared with other social media platform users. It was said by Benjamin Ampen who is the revenue head in the MENA region.
According to Arabian Business, Ampen declared that the Twitter users are more educated and richer. ‘If your average non-Twitter customer is worth $100, a Twitter customer is worth $145.’
Several studies conducted by the social media sites also proved that users of Twitter are more ‘influential’. That means, “when you are a user on Twitter, you are more likely to recommend [a friend] to buy a brand … compared to other platforms. That’s pretty strong,” Ampen told by referring to comScore and Kantar Group global study.
Twitter has 328 million monthly active users around the world, whereas 9 million users added in the first 3 months of this year alone.
