Skype for Android has recently received an update which has already been rolling out through Google Play store. It is Skype 5.6 the more refreshed design for better experience for the user.

Firstly, you can see more Recent tabs, you can instantly jump into the previous chat if you want. Round Avatar are now integrated into the App, which will make you friends pictures consistence throughout the App. Additionally, your friends’ online status will be shown on top of their avatars everywhere in the app.

Each chat has new colored bubbles which makes the text stand out more. The message will become more candid plus you can see what you said and what others. This is primarily very good for group chats where message are difficult to cope with as which participant has said what.

Moreover, there are also unnamed fixes and improvements in the new version of Skype which are much needed to make it more stable.
