Apple Got Approval for Testing 5G Wireless Connectivity

  MPC Team

Apple has achieved a milestone after receiving the green signal from FCC for testing 5G broadband connectivity. The company applied just few months back for the license and now it has the permission to hold trials for 5G on 28 GHz and 39 GHz, as news disclosed by DSLReports.

We all know 5G is a wireless standard and it would take some years to get the next generation tech, perhaps till 2020, it would be launched in the mainstream user’s channels.

However, it must be clear that there is no formal or any agreed upon 5G standard set yet. FCC also has given approval for short range millimeter wave spectrum which the authority had chopped off last summer.

It might end up with both high frequency and short range low frequency millimeter wave bands transmissions to be used in the 5G process along with other technologies which would enhance their data speed.
