  MPC Team

The EscudoWeb is a Spanish company, which mostly creates educational products. Recently the company has shown a newest Android smartphone for the children at MWC 2018, named as the phoneKid, which enables the parents to dictate when and how the children use their smartphone.

The smartphone runs on a modified version of Android to avert security bypass and furthermore allows the parents to remotely control their child’s smartphone at any time using an application. You will be able to give your kid access only to the chosen apps by setting up their profiles. For instance, if you have selected the Study mode profile then your child will only have access to education related apps, such as Word, Calculator, etc. You could also block the homescreen on the child’s smartphone and replace it with an activity command as what to do next. The kid would not be allowed to turn the device off or to disable the location tracking. There isanSoS button as well that silently generates a call to the parent’s mobile phone.
