Very recently a teaser from the China is out showing the honor 8 unveiling on July 5. This smartphone is purported to be the scaled down version of Huawei Honor V8. The idea of Honor 8 is not directly present in the teaser but the company is mentioning only honor at the bottom indicating that it might be next Honor 8.

Honor is the subsidiary brand of Huawei and came up with very decent handsets in recent years. The Honor V8, which launched last month, has a QHD 5.7-inch display and Kirin 950 SoC with 4 GB of LPDDR4 RAM. The Honor 8 is a bit downgraded but packs a full scoop in itself that will impress the buyers.

The honor 8 is likely to come with Kirin 950 or the Kirin 955 chipset coupled with 4 GB of RAM, and comes with USB Type-C port like its sizeable counterpart. Prices depends on the variant of honor 8 and it will start from $300 1080p model without NFC. The 128GB variant packing the QHD will cost you $425.  In total, there will be five different variants releasing in stores.

After the announcement on July 5, the company will start selling the Honor 8 on July 12.
