Earlier this month near the launch, we found one Samsung Galaxy S8 model showing the rear vertical dual camera at the back. Initially, Samsung was thinking to introduce dual front snapper as well. However, those leaks showed that is just an oddly placed fingerprint sensor, we believe the reflection distorted our perception.

Another thought was it could be Galaxy Note 8. No evidence for it except the big screen. Lastly, we can mention this leak was overall fake.

Through its fictitious existence Galaxy S8 was said to have a dual rear camera.  Similarly, this recent interpretation confirms the idea, and we derive it is none other than vertical dual camera placement for Galaxy S8.
