It was earlier reported that Huawei had tried to enter into the US market through building partnership with the US carriers such as Verizon and AT&T Mobile. However, the US government had pressurized these carriers to stay away from the deal.

Now, a report published by CNBC has mentioned that the security chiefs in USA have recommended the users against purchasing ZTE mobile and Huawei mobile phones.

Heads of different major agencies including CIA, FBI and NSA have expressed their dire concerns about these mobile manufacturing companies based in China.

According to the director of FIA Mr. Chris Wray, “We’re deeply concerned about the risks of allowing any company or entity that is beholden to foreign governments that don’t share our values to gain positions of power inside our telecommunications networks.”

On the other hand, the CEO of Huawei Richard Yu showed dismay over current state of affairs and said it as a big loss for consumers as well as carriers.

While responding to the concerned raised by security chiefs of USA, Huawei’s spokesperson stated that governments of more than 170 countries trust the Huawei products and they do not pose any threat to them.
