In the last week of December, two smartphones by Sharp were revealed on TENAA. One variant of this phone was also approved and certified in Taiwan. This confirmed that the new mobile phone namely Aquos S3 by Sharp is going to be unveiled soon. The company has now confirmed the same by sending the press invitations to various places for the launching event to be held on 16^th January.

Mini variant of this new and upcoming Sharp Aquos S3 will also be announced with the main variant and this is because the name was actually leaked on support page of Google Play in which the model name of the phone had matched with the older leaks and rumors.

The specs revealed so far indicate that Sharp Aquos S3 is going to have 5.99-inch display with 18:9 aspect ratio as well as full HD+ resolution. It will be powered by Snapdragon 630 SoC, 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. Another variant of the same will have 660 SoC, 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage.
