Sharp was expected to release Aquos S3 today, but it had been released a few days earlier than the scheduled date.
According to the company, the Sharp Aquos S3 will be the most compact smartphone in the world that will feature 6-inch display. The measurements of the phone will be 148.2mm x 74.2mm. This means that it will be about 3.5mm shorter as well as 1.2mm narrower in comparison of the LG V30.
Moreover, the 6-inch screen will come 18:9 aspect ratio with 1080 x 2160 pixels resolution. The display technology will be IPS LCD and there will be a smaller notch on its front side.
Additionally, Sharp Aquos S3 will have dual camera system on the back, with 12MP + 13MP arrangement. The selfie camera will be single, i.e. 16MP. The Sharp phone will be powered by Snapdragon 630 SoC and it will have 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. Similarly, it will have 3200mAh battery along with Quick Charge 3.0 fast charging option.
Sharp Aquos S3 will first be sold in Taiwan from 1st April, and its introductory price will be about $360.
