Zong is consistently working on broadening the 3G/4G spectrum that may contribute towards better technology, lifestyle and enhanced experience for the customers.

The CEO Deputy Zong Mr. Niaz A Malik commented on an inauguration of state-of-the-art Experience & Service Centre here in Islamabad.

“After 3G/4G revolution in Pakistan, Zong was the first one to launch 4G LTE services after getting the 4G license for $210 million along with its 3G license, which totaled more than $516 million. We feel proud that Zong is the only operator in Pakistan that is providing unmatched 3G and 4G services for its customers. Our quality of services has been endorsed by PTA recently which is quite encouraging not only for us but for the industry too.”

After the briefing details were given to media, they were also given live experience of 3G and 4G services provided in Pakistan by Zong to make them acknowledge how smartly the company is working towards its goals.

This is for the first time in Pakistan, a display terminal and an Experience Store is developed with aim of people using the leading phones like QMobile, Microsoft, Samsung, Rivo and many more by just giving opportunity to experience their handsets and devices on 3G and 4G prior to purchase and actual use.

He gave concluding comments by saying:

“We have succeeded in maintaining the number one slot with 3,094,683 3G and 132,502 4G/LTE users by the end of July 2015. By increasing our investments we are quite hopeful that our quality of services will further be enhanced to provide best telecom services to our valuable customers.”

Zong’s 4G sites are 2059 whereas 3G sites are 4591, while network is increasing rapidly on daily basis which requires a more solid and expanded 3G/4G spectrum.
