Xiaomi Redmi 4’s First sale in India: It Remarkably Sold 250,000+ units in 8 minutes.

Yesterday the smartphone Xiaomi Redmi 4 went on sale at 12 PM for the first time in India. Redmi 4 is exclusively available online via Amazon and Mi.com. The Mi fans had shown a tremendous response to the brand new Redmi 4 in its first sale. According to Amazon, it received more than 2.3 million ‘notify me’ alerts for Redmi 4 from consumers.

Furthermore Amazon declared that it has received more than 10 million hits per minute on the site. So, come to the point that how much units they have sold in its first sale. Xiaomi declared that it has sold more than 250,000 units of its Redmi 4 handset within eight minutes, on the first day of its sale. The next Xiaomi Redmi 4 sale will happen on May 30.

Here’s a brief detail about Redmi 4 models, the smartphone has been launched in three memory and storage models in India. The 2GB RAM and 16GB storage model with the price of Rs. 6,999, the 3GB RAM and 32GB storage model with the price tag of Rs. 8,999 and the last 4GB RAM and 64GB storage model is priced at Rs. 10,999. This week only the lower two models went on sale.

The Xiaomi Redmi 4 has Snapdragon 435 processor with metalic body and a fingerprint scanner at the back side. Xiaomi India has promised that Android Nougat-based MIUI will be available soon, released for the Redmi 4 users.
