Xiaomi is getting ready to launch a new smartphone in India this month, and as the teasers clue, it will be the Xiaomi Mi Max 2. The company has uploaded number of teasers with the inscription that “Something is coming”. The Mi Max 2, successor of the last year’s Mi Max Phablet, was launched in China in May. As we all are waiting for an official announcement yet, the Xiaomi India head, Manu Kumar, had freshly hinted at a disclosure on July 23.

Xiaomi has been uploading teasers on Twitter asking its fans to take a guess about the upcoming device. Xiaomi has posted a teaser in which fans have to guess the hidden words, which shows apparently “Big is Back”. Previously, Xiaomi had used the word ‘Big’ during the launch of Mi Max to characterize its new phablet. Xiaomi Mi Max 2 was launched in China at a price of RMB 1,699 (Rs. 16,000 almost) for the 64GB model, and RMB 1,999 (Rs. 19,000 almost) for the 128GB model.

The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 has a metal unibody design with a USB Type-C port for power and data transfer. The device has a standard 3.5mm headphone jack. There is a rear fingerprint sensor along with an IR Blaster at the top of the Phablet. The antenna bands are placed with the top and bottom edges of the device.
