Vodafone and Reliance Jio have a healthy competition between each other. Recently Reliance Jio has started unlimited calling plans. So, to contend with Reliance Jio Plans, Vodafone is introducing a new postpaid priced at Rs. 786. The new special postpaid plan has unlimited local and STD voice calls, with free 25GB of 3G and 4G data, told by telecom blogger, Sanjay Bafna. While roaming, the company also offers free unlimited incoming calls.

Vodafone introduced a new Postpaid Plan at Rs. 786 to effectively contend with Reliance Jio.

Previously in the month of March, Vodafone had launched ‘Vodafone Delights’ a postpaid plan at Rs. 346 that offered unlimited calling and 4G data of 28GB with a FUP of 1GB data daily. That plan was valid until March 15 and this new Rs. 786 plan shows that they extend the previous one in new terms. In this tremendous plan, it seems that Vodafone is copying the steps of Airtel, which introduced a 30GB free data plan for its postpaid customers.

Vodafone is going to become the largest telecom industry of India by making a combined entity with Idea Cellular, as recently it announced about their merger. This decision came as they want to compete with Reliance Jio’s aggressive pricing plans by forming a consolidation to perform better.
