Vivo is ready to release the world’s first smartphone with in-screen fingerprint sensor at the CES 2018. Vivo is most likely to announce a smartphone on January 10, which will be geared with the Synaptic optical in-screen fingerprint scanning technology. The Vivo Pakistan’s official Facebook page published a teaser today, which affirms a smartphone launch at CES with something ‘Revolutionary’.

The new in-display fingerprint sensor will support many usage scenarios except only unlocking the smartphone and this feature is only stimulated when required. A graphical User Interface will appeared on the smartphone’s display in any scheme, where the fingerprint identification is needed, such as when the display is off, during mobile payment authentication or for unlocking the software.Notably, Samsung and Applehave been rumored for a long ago to announce such solutions, but the Chinese smartphone brand Vivo has taken the lead.
