The flagship of HMD Global, Nokia 8 was released in previous week, and its release has marked both the beginning of dual camera-focused series from Nokia as well as the beginning of another season of high-end Android-powered smartphone for fans.

The latest Nokia 8 fills most of the spots in checklist for becoming an iconic smartphone of the year, whereas it misses some as well.

First, the plus points: The latest 2017 flagship contains MicroSD slot, which is not present in OnePlus 5 and Google Pixel. Secondly, unlike that of HTC U11, Galaxy S8 and Xperia XZ Premium, this smartphone will have dual camera on the back. Thirdly, it has a headphone jack which is not present in HTC U11. Lastly, it contains the QHD screen, which is not present in OnePlus 5. Pretty good reasons for vouch for? Not so fast!

Now the missing points: Nokia 8 is bezel-less. It does not have HDR screen and does not even possess stereo speakers or waterproofing.

Price-wise, Nokia 8 will be cheaper than Galaxy S8 and iPhone 7 Plus Red, as its price will be $700.

So is Nokia back with the release of Nokia 8? Ask me for my verdict? Then, YES, Big time! Nokia will absolutely give it tough time to its competitors!
