Recently two very promising handsets of Gionee paid a visit to TENNA. Gionee with model number GN5001 and GN9010 will be Lollipop powered and are expected to launch at the end of the year.

The specs and features get listed at TENAA unveils, Gionee GN5001 sports a 5-inch 720p LCD. Further it runs on a quad-core 1.3GHz CPU with a meek 1GB of RAM and solid 16GB of internal storage (expandable via microSD up to 128GB).

The GN5001 carries an 8MP primary camera with a CMOS sensor, which can capture 720p videos. It also has a 5MP front shooter for selfies and Video Chats. Connectivity options include TD-LTE, FDD-LTE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and GPS.

The Gionee GN9010 is bit larger with 5.5-inches 720p display with an octa-core CPU at the helm accompanying 2GB of RAM and the same 16GB ROM storage (expandable up to 128GB microSD card support). It might has rather an improved 13MP rear camera or same 8MP primary unit which depends on the market. It is capable of capturing 1080p videos and a 5MP front facer. Its connectivity options include FDD-LTE, TD-LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS.

These two handset can either be the ones reported to be the first of Made-In-India smartphones coming next week.
